Power it. The sensor bar is really just a collection of infrared LEDs. With the standard sensor bar, just plug it into the back of the Wii console.
You point it at the sensor bar, which plugs into the back of your Wii console. The sensor bar should be placed either right above or below the television.
the wii console brings with it the wii sport's game the console it's self of course sensor bar wii mote the nunchuck.
There is a sensor of some sort inside it that goes to the sensor bar the sensor bar accepts the sensor as commands which allows you to freely move around in games.
You have not given enough information to what your problem could be, so I will run through some troubleshooting steps1. Does the Wireless Sensor Bar have batteries, and have you checked to see if the batteries are low or dead? Make sure you install fresh/new batteries in the Sensor Bar2. Is the Sensor Bar turned on? Look around the Sensor Bar for a power button or switch, the Sensor Bar is not controlled by the Wii in any way, so it must be turned on and off manually3. is the Sensor Bar located properly? Make sure the front of the sensor bar is facing you, make sure nothing is blocking the view, and make sure it is not turned to the side4. Is the Sensor Bar doing anything when you turn it on? Is there a light? There should be a light indicating if the sensor bar is on or not, if there is no light, get a digital camera or camcorder and look at the sensor bar through the viewfinder, you should see something glowing on both sides of the Sensor Bar, these are IR LEDs, IR light can not be seen with the naked eye, and requires a camera in order to see the glow of the light5.check if the sensor bar is plugged into the wiiIf none of this works, it is possible that you have a broken/shorted sensor bar and you will need to replace it, candles will also work in it's place for a temporary sensor bar, or you can use flashlights (incandescent bulbs required, LED and florescent will not work)
are you kidding me? yes you can!! try to use the wii without the sensor bar, if it doesn't work use two candles. go to youtube and type in wii sensor bar candle. and you should find something. if not go to walmart!
sadly no,there is not a sensor bar for Xbox360
The sensor bar does not need to be charged.
Check the remotes batteries, check if the sensor bar is properly hooked up, re synch the remote with the wii.
Check to make sure the Sensor Bar cord is inserted into the back of the Wii console and the Sensor Bar is centered above or below your TV screen (more info).Make sure you are using fresh batteries in the Wii Remote. The Wii Remote Controller should be used between 3 to 10 feet from the TV.Make sure no objects are blocking the signals between the Sensor Bar, the Wii console, and the Wii Remote.Check for interference from infra-red light sources, such as candles, sunlight, fireplaces, and stoves.Radio frequency interference may cause the Wii Remote to work erratically. Check for wireless devices such as cordless phones, wireless computer keyboards or mice, or other similar devices, and move or turn them off.from:http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/ts/wiiremote.jsp
Yes, they are. Wii remotes, classic controllers, sensor bars and games all work with the Nintendo Wii U. The sensor bar that comes with the Nintendo Wii U is the same as the original Wii sensor bar
The sensor bar on the Nintendo Wii is the element that reads the signals being transmitted by the "wiimote". This sensor bar can be placed either on top of or below the TV.
