Go to Advanced Auto or Auto-Zone and get a headlight refinishing kit made by 3M. They have 500 grit, then 800 grit, then 3000 grit pads and a mechanisim to let you put the pads on your drill so that you don't have to use much effort. The results are astounding. Just like new in 1 hour and $15.
