When you turn a corner the guage fluctuates.
heat is the problem. your temp guage is most likely shot and your car is probably vapor locking.
Most oil guages will fluctuate with engine rpm as the pressure increases & decreases. If this is something new then you may want to replace the switch for the guage and while you have it out you could put a mechanical guage in the hole (hose, guage & adapter is needed) and check the pressure to be sure the pump is o/k. Make sure that the oil is clean and it's up to the proper level on the dipstick.

AWG= American wire guage SWG = standard wire guage
Go to autozone & buy a $10 guage, Open the radiator when cold, Fill guage up with coolant & just read the level on the guage.
