No, it should actually help the fish stay together better. You only want a light coating of flour. In fact, it's called "dusting" with flour. Pat the fish dry, dip it in flour and then pat the excess off. Whe fried this way the fish has a light crispy outside.
If you're a fish!
It is entirely up to you as not everybody likes their fish the same, so for different recipes there are all sorts of methods on how to cook your fish. However it is done, at least you will enjoy it.

You sure can. My grandpa used pancake mix. Make you up some pancake mix and dip your fish in and fry them. Gives them a rare taste.
It really depends on the species and the equipment you have. You can google the type of fish or filleting fish and find your fish, or if you'd like ask how do you fillet a '' ----''. And I'll be there will be an answer show up for you....

There are many ways you could cook them. One way that was popular where I grew up was to soak them in milk or buttermilk for a couple of hours up to overnight, then dredge them in a mixture of flour, salt and pepper, then fry them until golden brown. Yum.

In RuneScape, I suppose. You just cook fish. This can easily be combined with the fishing skill - you fish, then cook, then drop the cooked food. Or sell it to make some extra money - but that also takes extra time.Of course, instead of fish, you can cook just about anything else. In general, cooking high-level food will give you experience faster - but it will also cost you more.In RuneScape, I suppose. You just cook fish.
