From what has been said on most of the forums that deal with the coming expansion, once you hit 60 and purchase the regular flying mount training, you will be able to fly in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Note, this does NOT affect Northrend Flight...meaning you will still need to purchase the Cold Weather Flying to fly in Northrend.
Here is a break down of the cost of riding mounts in World of Warcraft. Expert - Basic flying mount speed - 250 gold Artisan - Fast Flying mount speed - 5000 gold Master - Fastest Flying mount speed - 5000 gold If you want to fly in Northrend, that will cost you 500 gold more. Also, to fly in the low level zones, like before Outland, that will cost you 250 gold. All these skills can be learned from the flying trainer in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind. The prices do not include any faction discounts.
Fires of Azeroth was created in 1979.
Azeroth is the name of the whole planet in World of Warcraft. It includes Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Northrend. Outlands, although a not techinally part of Azeroth, is usually included when someone mentions Azeroth.
The ISBN of Fires of Azeroth is 0-88677-259-1.
With the advent of flying in the "Old World" of Azeroth, it is reasonably easy to do, just level yourself to 60, purchase the flying mount and skill, then the flight masters license, then just mount up and fly.
You be "born" as a Death Kknight. Since there is no free-flying in Azeroth, and the only way to get there is to fly, only Death Knights can access Acherus Hold.
No. When cataclysm hits, it will change everything. Do not worry though, you will not have to do anything, people who do not purchase cataclysm right away will still be able to see the new azeroth. the world will change for everyone. you just wont be able to make the new races.
The Road to Azeroth - 2014 was released on: USA: 2014 (video premiere)
Azeroth
The Burning Crusade is a name for the push by heroes in Azeroth to open the gate between Azeroth and Outland. The Draeni and Blood Elves were closed off from Azeroth by the third war. The main point of the Crusade is to defeat Illidan Stormrage in the Black Temple.
To learn the flying skill, a character must be level 60 and pay between 200 and 250 gold t learn the Expert flying skill. This will allow him to fly in Outland only. To fly in the rest of Azeroth, you will need to also purchase the Flight Masters License. The flight master license will let you fly every where in Azeroth (excluding Draenei, Blood Elf areas and Northrend).
