If you're not being tested for herpes then it won't show up. A specific blood test test or culture test of a lesion or blister has to be done to test for herpes. This test often not included in regular std testing. If you think you could have herpes then you have to talk to your doctor about being tested for it. They won't test you for herpes unless you ask or talk to them about it.
