Car monitors can be viewed when ever. they are not linked to the drive mode of the vehicle. They are controlled by a seperate control box that draws power as long as the key is set to at least the ACC positoin in the ignition.
yes
While safely parked
pullover and use the phone only when you are parked in a safe and secure location
My bet it is the spark plug wires or spark plugs or rotor cap if it has one. If the wires are going bad, they are worse "under load" (while driving).
Also, the Toyota Tacoma 4X4 SR5, without Keys, parked, no one in it?
Sounds like either a power issue or a wiring issue that a mechanic should check out
Depends on if it drained while you were driving or ran down while it was parked overnight. If the battery runs down while you're driving the vehicle then more than likely the alternator is defective. If the battery drains while the vehicle is parked then the problem is either a dead cell in the battery or a light is on somewhere on the vehicle. Could be a under hood light, trunk, glovebox, dome, or even the brake lights. It can also be a relay that is stuck.
While driving - no. While parked - sure, assuming you can find reception though. Look at antennas for RVs and similar to find stuff with the highest chance of working for you.
You should only use your parking lights when your vehicle is parked or when you are stopped in an emergency situation. They should not be used while driving.
What makes you think it only leaks while parked. -
No, it is not illegal in PA. California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Washington are the current states with a ban on talking on the phone while driving. It should be illegal: it's dangerious, crashes have happened, people have died.
Several things can happen. Allowing you parked legally other than insurance: the person who hit your parked car is responsible to pay damage. If you were parked on private property the lack of insurance means nothing. If you were parked on a public road or public parking lot you could be on the hook for a ticket for uninsured vehicle, but the other guy should pay anyway. Don't admit to driving with out insurance!
