Well they offer a one million dollar guarantee to back up their off so I would say that's a fair indicator of their faith in their product. However, I'll flip around and say that most of the things they offer you can do for free by yourself. A lock means that the question is protected and can only be answered by a Supervisor. They are protected because they have been vandalised, or the question is ambiguous.

If You mean to keep it protected from device removal, I suggest ejecting it, and keeping it in your pocket, because can't lock that.
