no unless the male was starving, starving, starving to death and the kitten was little, but this is highly unlikely. Also, males usually don't stick around to raise the kittens so they aren't near the kittens.

It depends on how well your male cat behaves around other cats. I've had male cat protect and play with kittens, and I've had male cats that cant stand to be around them.

But a stray male cat would most likely kill the babies. You just need to watch them. it depends if the male cat is wild or friendly and well trained.

I don't think so. In my entire life of association with cats, I have only known one male cat to do this. Most male cats will ignore kittens or slap them without using their claws, and a few have actually been affectionate and caring toward kittens.
