it isnt likely. They will probably reject the egg, because it isnt their species. Also, even if they did hatch i, they might not care for it if they see it is a sparrow,. And sparrows grow up on a different diet and in a different timeframe than parakeet babies, so the parents wont know how to care for it.
The parakeets will lay their eggs in a nest that they build themselves. The parakeets will sit on the eggs until all have hatched. The eggs should hatch after 18 days.
Yes, like all birds, the eggs must be incubated to hatch.
Parakeets will sometimes reject their eggs because of stress or if they believe their cage is not large enough. They may crack their own eggs or simply abandon them.
a cage
They do not always.
of course they will not hatch they need they're warmth from their mothers.
Parakeets do not give birth to live babies but rather they lay eggs. Each batch of eggs is called a clutch. After the female parakeet lays the eggs she lays on them to keep them warm until they hatch.
A sparrow normally lays two to three eggs. Sparrows have very low mortality rate and thus the three hatch-lings are likely to survive to adulthood.
you can hatch a sparrow egg by putting on to soft pillows and or putting it on a hankercheif and putting a lamp over the egg and see if you have ant luck with that and another thing is you don't want to put your scent on the egg too much or it sometimes will not hatch
I do not think you can. My parakeets had eggs and they did not hatch because she did not take care of them right. If they do have eggs you may take them away and sell them or kill them.
It your parakeet lays two eggs on the botton of the cage, you might as well just leave them alone. By know you should have a nest in the cage. it is a big box in the cage with a whole in it. we got one a couple days ago cause my bird laid 4 eggs!!!! i know it is crazy. Well, good luck with your parakeet!!! Essa
Most birds that have the name of 'sparrow' lay their eggs in spring and summer. If good conditions apply- such as plentiful food and mild weather- then they can breed all year round. The House Sparrow certainly can, which is one reason it is so common in many countries.
