No definitely not. Raid is not meant to be put on the skin. It is a powerful bug killer. There are shampoos that are specially formulated to be used to kill head lice. You should try one of those.
I conducted a small control test on lice donated to me by some birds living in my roof.
Technically yes, it did kill them but not as quick as larger insects go. It took about 6 - 8 minutes for them to stop moving. They may have just died of boredom.
So I don't think this is a good option for fumigation, I'm looking into what can be used to kill them, preferably something that won't take me out also.
