You did not specify what kind of vehicle your interested in doing this to. There are different set ups used by various manufacturers. The general rule is that if the Oxygen sensor is installed before the convertor, then there will be no effect on the vehicles fuel management system. Most newer vehicles have 2 or more sensors both before and after the convertor. On these set-ups, It will throw a code if the convertor is removed but alot of aftermarket companies make modules that you can purchase to "trick" the ECU into thinking that there is still one there and they ussually install in place of the oxygen sensor. Hope this helps. MIKEY RICE BURNER
this vehicle has OBD2 and will need diagnosing as there are several parts in the fuel system that can cause this also weak ignition or a torque convertor that is stuck looked in can cause this have your van scaned for fault codes
Just give me the car, dude, okay? I promise to take good care of her. ^douche bag. if the car still has the original catalytic convertor. Starter is easy to unbolt, but will not come out until the right front exhaust springs are detached (thats the pain!!) to allow pulling the convertor down so the starter can come out on that side.
Removing the positive battery terminal for 5 minutes will clear the codes and reset the computer. But, the light will come back on in short order if the problem that caused the light to come on in the first place is not corrected.
Coin codes are codes that new ones come out each month. They give you coins.
The codes are telling you there is a problem. If the problem is not fixed the codes will come back.
I'm not sure if any Groove Academy 2 codes have come yet... I have been looking for some and one of the answers said that not all of the codes have come out.

The Oxygen Sensors on a 2003 GMC Sonoma are located in the exhaust system. There is one Oxygen Sensor located where the two manifold pipes come together before the catalytic convertor. There is also another Oxygen Sensor located just behind the catalytic convertor before the tail pipe.
go on Disney Channel Suburbia cheat codes and then it won't come up with the codes.
The Torque convertor clutch is actually a part of your torque convertor. It is electronically controlled when is is activated and when it is not. Usually it will come on at highway speeds in the top gear to increase fuel efficiency and decrease torque convertor slip. It basically locks your engine to transmission to create a "direct drive" where the rpm in your engine is the rpm in your transmission. There isn't really a diagram for the clutch. I guess im not really sure why your needing a diagram for it- Please explain
Yes
Theres usually a oxygen sensor around or even inside the cat so when you remove the cat it causes codes to be sent to your computer and your check engine light will come on. That's the only effect it has on the sensor.
