Repeated attempts to start a car will not hurt a car as long as the engine has the oil it's supposed to have. However, they aren't good for the battery.
if I understand your ? can not changing an old oil filter gasket casue damage to your engine NO only if it leaked out all the oil other wise no. If the filter change was the cause of the leak and you lost enough oil for the engine to start clattering, yes, it caused the permanent engine damage.
The heat generated by the converter can back up into the engine and damage it. Cause it to overheat, blow a head gasket or damage the heads.
Stops dirt from entering the engine which will damage internal parts.
I hope you did not remove a battery post while the engine was running (don't do it)? If so, it may cause damage to your alternator, and it will short out your ignition in the engine (engine stops). If there is no damage, it should work after reconnecting the battery posts. If you didn't do the above situation, I would check for a loose connection on the terminal or a corroded/broken cable. it all depends on type, age, the amount of damage, and what kind of damage to the engine. just find a specialist and they can help you out.
has engine been damage
No revving your engine dosent damage it.
Yes, it can damage the engine.
damage engine no.. will the engine run no.
Well I really have no idea what a ldv is, but if your timing belt breaks and your engine is an interference engine there will be damage. If it is not an interference engine there will be no damage.
On an interference engine the pistons can hit the valves. That will cause severe internal engine damage.
No - a small amount will not damage the engine, though may cause it to run badly. However, a larger amount can cause serious damage, and the tank and engine should be drained.
NO, it will not damage the vehicle engine by turning the heater ON before the engine has warmed up fully.
if the piston breaks that is engine damage.
No, but it can cause severe engine damage if you keep running the engine.
The engine will overheat and can cause severe engine damage. The engine will be completely ruined if it is not immediately shut off.
If gasoline is used in a diesel it will damage the engine. If diesel is used in a gasoline engine it will do no real damage as the engine will not run.
