make sure wires are in the right firing order again, cap is on good and secure.
A 2004 Dodge Ram will begin stalling out when it is not receiving enough fuel or air. A weak spark or defective spark plugs will also cause stalling.
Have you tried replacing the PCV valve?
check your fuel pump, alot of magnas had faulty fuel pumps and due to your car stalling and splattering would be due to the fuel pump.
not necessarily unless after replacing plugs your engine misfires.
Repair the misfire condition. Consider replacing spark plugs and wires.
Use the clutch.
THIS MAY BE LATE FOR SOME, BUT HELPFUL FOR OTHERS. I had a stalling issue with my 2001 700 formula, had new teather programed, but it didnt fix problem. After reading tons of posts .I found one about the plugs, If your sled calls for B9res plugs make sure you dont install b9es plugs, as i did, the lack of the resistor plug will cause stalling. Hope this helps someone....
Worn spark plugs would cause mis-firing or non firing cylinders, both are no good for the engine, replacing the plugs may stop the knock (Could also be a different problem) But you should replace spark plugs as soon as possible.
Try replacing the idle air control valve (IAC)
Start with replacing the fuel filter.
IF... the crank sensor was the problem then it might. However, it is unlikely. I agree, although they are known to crack, It usually results in a no start condition from what I have seen.
