Unlikely. These are a couple of generations apart and are different models. You could call the parts department at your local Subaru dealer and ask them to look up the part numbers for both. If they are different part numbers, the answer is "no".
Service manuals for the Legacy Outback on CD are available on eBay for less than $10. I checked the one for my 2007 and it includes the diagram that you seek.

1999 and older and 2005 and newer will not fit. Not certain about the '01, 02, and '03 but that narrows it down a bit. You are best off checking with the seller and, failing all else, your Subaru dealer.
