There are many variables Colleges take into consideration. A 3.5 GPA means different things at different schools. Is the 3.5 weighted? Is it artificially inflated by classes like P.E, or woodworking? If so, you probably want to find an unweighted GPA for just your Social Studies, Science, English, Math, and Science classes. Unfortunately, your SAT score is a bit low, as the average SAT score for enrolling freshmen is about 1140. Hope this helped!

The admission requirements are things like you GPA and SAT score. So you need a certain GPA to get in like a 3.7 for you GPA you can get into NYU. But your SAT score needs to be great too.
