To get rid of dandruff, you can shampoo often with an anti-dandruff shampoo. Head & Shoulders is usually rated the best. If this does not rid you of dandruff, then it may be a medical issue.

'You get rid of dandruff.'
You need to use a special shampoo made to kill lice- you can get it in any drug store. You will also need to wash any hats in it. Combs and brushes will also need to be cleaned. The shampoo kills adult lice, but not their eggs- which will hatch and start all over again. They look like small white dots stuck to hairs. There is a VERY fine toothed comb (same drug store) that can be used to remove the eggs. READ the label on the shampoo (RID is one popular brand in the US) and follow the directions.
