Well I'm just guessing but but it seems to me that you would have to take off the fenders, then the front clip and you should be good to go then.

I looked under the front bumper of my 1997 Trans Am. It says it was built in Canada in 96. It has the shift, day, and month made also. I can only remember where it was made not the other details. So these cars at least were made within miles of America.
You will have the large bolts and nuts that mount it to the frame. Those are simple a easily found. However, there are also two small nuts on each side. On the rear they hold the bumper end to the quarter panel. On the front, they mount it to the fender. They are a little difficult to get to, but they do have to come out.
Air conditioning condenser. Right in front of the radiator is the Intercooler and then in front of the intercooler is the air conditioner condenser. Could also be a trans cooler, a power steering cooler... a bumper....
