Depends on what transmission you are refering to.
If you are asking about the 6-speed manual from the tC2, then yes. It will bolt up to the engine found in the 07 (2AZ-FE). However... you will need a plethora of parts.
Descendant has already done this swap on a tC.

As for the 6-speed automatic, it will bolt up but you will have no way of using it. The ECU also controls the transmission. With that in mind, the tC2 and tC1 have different engines and therefore different ECUs. Therefore it will NOT work with swapping the automatic transmission.
