Unfortunately not. The ending leaves a sort of lasting impression, doesn't it? It was sort of like a cut off the end, a drop off the cliff. Sadly, no. However, it does let your imagination flow.

As of now, there are no official plans for a sequel to "The Giver" movie. The original film was released in 2014 and was based on the novel of the same name by Lois Lowry. However, there is always a possibility for sequels in the future if there is enough interest and support.
