Ah...very good question. You know I've been woundering that myself. George Lucas planned to do all 10 starwars movies, But it only ended up with 6. I hope the do make some more of them. They made lots of books about starwars that would make great movies. One of them I just finished today was called Star Wars Prophets of the Darkside.
It took place sometime after the Return of the Jedi episode 6. Han Solo and Princess Lea get married at the end. It would make a great movie. I think I heard that they were planning to make more but we'll see.

∙ 15y agoLucasfilm made an animated Starwars that was released on August 15, 2008. Star Wars: The Clone Wars,
But there is no mention of a 7th movie coming out, only that the six others will be remade for a 3-D format. There will however be a Starwars series. It currently is set for debut sometime in 2009 and is known only as the Starwars Live Action TV Series. It will be set in between Episodes III and IV. Daniel Logan will play a younger Boba Fett again in this series. Sam Witwer has also expressed an interest in playing Starkiller AKA Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice or Galen Marek. He is the main character in the book and video-game Starwars The Force Unleashed.

However, if you are referring to the 7th film, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it is quite likely that George Lucas is working on a sequel to it.

∙ 13y agoNo. According to George Lucas, no more films will be made. But there will be a live-action TV series beginning sometime in the year 2011. And the CGI-animated series "The Clone Wars" is still going on, with the final season (Season 3) premiering sometime in early October 2010

Disney has announced plans to make several additional movies including Star Wars 7, 8 and 9 as well as spin off movies relating to individual characters such as Yoda, and Boba Fett which would take place either before or during the time lines of the first 6 movies.
George Lucas is now on the board of directors for Disney but has no direct ownership of anything Star Wars related.
JJ Abrams is currently slated to direct Star Wars 7.
