Who knows? It's too soon to ask... Left 4 dead 2 just barely came out in 2009, and just got re-released about a year or so after that. But I heard Valve say as soon as they are done with Fortress Resort 2(maybe team fortress?) or whatever, they MIGHT start developing Left 4 Dead 3. And you should also remember that they need to create the maps to play on, make the characters and get voice actors for them, coming up with achievements and more. That may take awhile to get done. For now, just cuddle up with Mass Effect 3 and hope for the best.
