no unless you have not fed them in a while
If a hamster mom eats some of her pups, don't worry. It's natural. It means she doen't think she can handle all the pups so cuts down the numbers. If you don't give the mom enough to eat and drink, she will kill her pups and save them a long death of dehydration or starvation. Also, if you touch the pups, she might reject them, or eat them to protect them. It sounds wierd, but it's just nature.
moms feed milk to their baby pups
Seal Pups are very funny, they eat like they are funny. They like to eat fish and cheesecake! and they like soup!
I am a breeder of Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Poodles & Dachshunds. I handle my pups from birth.
Seal cubs (pups) eat fish. I'm not sure what type of fish but I know they eat mainly fish.
Newborn pups are safe to handle when they start growing fur. The reason for not holding them when they're born is because if you get your scent on them the mother will think it's not her, therefore eat it. Ps: If your mother hamster has more babies then she can feed, take some babies out to give her a smaller litter to care for and nurse the other babies yourself. She will eat the babies if they're too much work for her. #jenna!<3
Fish
Just go eat. Don't be afraid that a bear or coyote will eat your pup. As soon as you leave camp, your mate will come running to camp to stay with the pups. If they had just eaten, then they might feed one or more of the pups.
Gerbils only eat there pups if something is seriously wrong. (Dehydration, sick or injured pups, ect.) This not only applies to the mother, but also the father. Gerbil's make great dads.
Wolf pups eat meat for the first time at 3 weeks, im pretty sure. I might be wrong, but i bet it is.
They don't. not usually. However, if the pups are really sick and/or the mother is really starving, this could happen.
