Yes, this scanner will work both with pc's and mac computers.
Yes, this scanner is mac compatible.
You can use this scanner with any type of computer you have, be it Mac, PC or Linux. The Linux will take some work to install, but you can easily find Mac and PC drivers online.
No it is not.
It is probably in the program files folder for your scanner or it is in my documents folder if you have windows. If you have a mac I can't help I don't have much experience with a mac.
Fujitsu ScanSnap feeder scanner compatible with all systems but compared to other system this Fujitsu scanner has the necessary tools to anchor any Mac-based computing environment.
Most HP scanners will be automatically recognised by Mac OS X. Connect the scanner to a USB socket, turn on the scanner and launch the Image Capture application in the Applications folder which should find the scanner. If it is not recognised HP supply a range of drivers and software (See links below).
I am not familiar with the Xerox 2400 but, if you can make a Macintosh running OS X see the scanner, be it by USB, Wifi, Bluetooth, or even the old SCSI interface, there are generic scanner software that should be able to make it work. How well will it work is another question. Just do a search for 'generic scanner software for OS X.' If the scanner is older than, say 10 years, you may have problems with the Macintosh 'seeing' the scanner. It may be much easier to purchase and inexpensive scanner if it is that old. The inexpensive scanner will be far superior to a 10+ year old scanner.

Most epson hardware should work with your mac. Epson has a long history of being compatible with macs; however, I would go to their website and make sure that what ever model you want to use is compatible as apples hd support can be spotty at times.
Unfortunately no...This scanner currently only supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista operating systems.
Without knowing the exact scanner model it is impossible to give exact instructions but Epson scanners are generally well supported by Mac OS X and should be recognised when connected. Plug scanner into computer. Turn on scanner. Launch Image Capture (in the Applications folder) and it should find the scanner and offer preview - set up - scan options. In other software, such as Photoshop, the scanner will probably be recognised as a TWAIN device.
