It would appear to be impossible as it would break several fundamental laws of the universe as we understand them.
There are theoretical mathematical models that allow it under extreme circumstances, but eventually they all come to a fundamental anomaly of circumventing cause-and-effect, thus creating a paradox. Paradoxes cannot occur in the real world.
In fiction, the paradox is either ignored, or has speculative results that cannot be tested or proven. In fact, the result of any time travel would not be even discernible by any known means, if it actually caused changes to the existing timeline.
The easiest way to answer this is "Maybe, Maybe not." also, if it was to be, it would most likely be outlawed pretty quickly afterwards. think of how one person could change the world?! i.e. if i was to go back to say the 1930's and kill people like hitler, and others like him. the Nazi party may have never came to the power that it obtained, and even though i in no way agree with everything they did. in result of their actions the world changed for the better.
Time travel is not possible, so it's not dangerous at all.
Yes, it was.
There is currently no know and confirmed way to travel in time.
It Could Depend. But it could be possible.
it's not possible..
Not currently. Perhaps not ever.
both can be possible in theory
So far, time travel has not been achieved - not with a watch, not with any other device. It seems somewhat doubtful that it ever will be possible.
There has been speculation about the possibility of time travel for centuries, but there is no evidence that this is possible, or ever will be.Of course, you are traveling forward in time, all the time.
There is no evidence that time travel ever occurred (outside science fiction and fantasy stories, of course), and perhaps it will never be possible. Therefore, it's a bit premature to ask about the "cause" of time travel. If there is no time travel, then there is nothing that causes it.
This is not likely to happen - although there is currently lots of theoretical research on the topic.
There is no evidence that what is commonly known as "time travel" is possible at all.
No, time travel is, thankfully, only science fiction.
Time travel is not possible, so it's not dangerous at all.
No,time travel is possible but it is somewhat difficult,as einstein said,"if an object travels with speed of light , the time near it would become slow and time travel wold be possible. All we need to is to produce such machine /spaceships that can travel up-to light's speed.
It would be possible but unusual.
Time travel, for the time being, is very hypothetical. So far, it has not been possible to travel in time, and perhaps it never will. Thus, it can't be said what math or science you need. But if you want to do a breakthrough in time travel - which is very doubtful will ever happen - you will probably require some very advanced math and science.
