The "red star" on the side of the Pokemon's pic on the summery shows that the Pokemon is a Shiny Pokemon (a Pokemon in a different color then its supposed to be eg. a green Espeon). it depends. if mew is infected with pokerus (a Pokemon virus that makes them level up faster) it cannot be traded. However, pokerus can be cured by nurse joy. you just go to the Pokemon center like a regular check-up, talk to her, then she will ask you if you want to cure your Pokemon of pokerus. if you want to trade your mew, then you should heal it of pokerus. WARNING: if you withdraw mew from the GTS, and you decide you want the pokerus back....you can't. there is no way for you to give mew or any other Pokemon it's Pokemon virus back. So it's a 1-time shot. Or maybe you haven't seen one yet. You have to see one in the game first.
