That is because humans are greedy and those of us who have enough take more than we need and refuse to give to those of us who have none. The more we take the less others get. since we take so much and don't leave anything for anyone else it leaves people hungry and devastated.

We should learn to share and give, and that will make sure there sint anyone who is left hungry without nay food.

The 'world' will not really 'run out of food'. The important thing for us to consider is that the world population is growing at such a rate that our need for food may outgrow our ability to produce food for everyone. Of course, the earth has a finite lifespan and one day it will become a lifeless and waterless ball of rock, but that won't happen for billions of years.

There is enough food for everyone in the world, but because many people choose to consume animal flesh and secretions, much of the world's grain and soybeans are fed to livestock while humans go hungry.

Of the world’s more than seven billion people, more than 840 million are suffering from chronic hunger. One person dies of hunger every ten seconds, most of them children. That’s 3,1536,000 people who die of hunger every year.

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, (quoting the National Corn Growers Association), about 80% of all corn grown in the U.S. is consumed by farmed animals. Humans consume only about 12% of the U.S. corn crop. Quoting the United Soybean Board, the EPA tells us that over 30 million tons of soybean meal are consumed as livestock feed in a year. Worldwide, approximately 75% of soybeansare used for animal feed. Imagine how many more people could be fed with all that food!

According to the U.N. Convention to Combat Desertification, it takes up to 10 pounds of grain to produce just 1 pound of meat, and in the United States alone, 56 million acres of land are used to grow feed for animals, while only 4 million acres are producing food for humans to eat.

EarthSave, quoting a 1994 study, states that 10 billion people could be sustained from present croplands if everyone ate a plant-based diet.

Then we'll starve to death. If you want to survive, you need to learn to hunt, learn to garden and learn what plants in the wild are edible.
