it could, all depends how off it is.
Sounds like your timing is off
If it is petrol then it is probably the ignition timing not set correctly. If it is diesel then it is probably the injection pump timing not set correctly
hp: about 285 tourqe: about 333
Check the radiator hose for weakness or it could possibly be the wrong hose.
There always has been and always will be a great debate on which type of truck is best. I personally feel you cant go wrong with any truck in the Dodge Ram series.
timing timing if you are getting spark and fule check the timing you have a chain or a belt if you don't knwo then take it to a shop
Sounds like the timing is off or you have the plug wires connected wrong. Click the link I will post.
Next time it won't start spray a little starting fluid into the air cleaner then immediately try to start it. If you don't get a response you probably don't have any spark. If you get a response even briefly you have a fuel delivery problem.
I could be wrong, but I have a Vortec 350 in a GMC truck and I think the computer handles the ignition timing. If your talking about valve timing I would assume there are marks on the timing gears like the days of old, but I haven't torn the timing cover off of mine yet.
check the idle speed motor
could be a lot of things. I'd start with a battery tester, then starter, then go into the more expensive fixes.
is this truck is a good truck i like to know if this truck is a good truck what is wrong with this truck
