Absolutely not! You can own property and work in any other state of the country as long as you are indeed either a permanent resident or citizen. Take all of the college students who have apartments in one state, but have permanent residencies in another. I should know, I'm one of 'em. ;-) Hope this helped!
Yes, but if you're going to remain as a resident in Virginia, you're going to have to switch your licence over to a Virginia licence. I believe VA gives you 30 days after establishing yourself as a resident to do this.
40 hours or more
I believe you are not a resident alien at all, you are a alien, legally allowed to live and work in the USA for the duration of the L1 (up to 7 years) but you are not a "resident" There are many law firms who could answer precisely this question.
What about work comp in Michigan?
They work at michigan.
One would assume so. The state's waters, from Lake Michigan in the north to the Ohio River in the south, are generally open to commercial fishing. probabilyg it should work
If you work 82.5 hours per month you are considered employed and would not qualify for unemployment benefits.
they were all legally established by the time Illinois was admitted to the union in 1818 but survey & demarcation work continued until 1832 & even today the state line with Michigan within lake Michigan is only approximately established
Illinois is an "at will" employment state. A "right to work law" is a law that says union membership cannot be required in order to obtain or retain employment. Illinois does not have a right to work law.
Good question. During normal business hours, probably about 20,000, but most of them live in Indiana and only work during the day in Michigan. I don't know how to answer your question exactly, since you don't specify whether you mean how many prairie voles reside in Michigan or how many merely spend most of their days there. For resident prairie voles, I'd guess about 4500, give or take.
You'll file as a resident of NC and a non-resident of SC. The non resident filing will apportion part of your income to that state and the tax you pay will be a credit for tax due in the other State.
