- Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is a muscle relaxant.
The most commonly requested drug test screens for the five different types of "street" drugs. Marijuana, Cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, and opiates. Amphetamines include illegal drugs such as methamphetamines (crystal meth), speed, crank and ecstasy. Opiates include heroin, codeine, and opium. The standard drug test also screens for crack cocaine and hashish (a byproduct of cannabis). Flexeril does not fall into any of those categories and therefore does not show on a standard urinalysis. If it is suspected a person is taking Flexeril without a prescription whoever is ordering the drug test can specifically request that it be tested for. Another reason they may request a specific screening is if your Dr. has prescribed Flexeril and wants to determine that you are indeed taking it as directed. But in the standard urinalysis it should not show.

∙ 12y agoYes it Is a narcotic !! Musle relaxers gos out your system in 2 or 4 days..... What country do you live in? In the USA, Flexeril is not a Controlled Substance nor does it have an opiate in it's chemical make up. It is available by prescription only.
