It is possible but it is almost impossible to tell. However, the chances of having twins, if your parents had twins without the use of fertility drugs, is greater than if they only had single births. There are old "wives tales" or "myths" about twins, such as that they usually skip a generation. For instance, your mother had twins, so your children (or another one of your mothers daughters, children) will have twins. There is no scientific basis for this.

Can you have twins if your husbands grandmother was a twin?

Identical twins are 100% random, and fraternal twins (two eggs, two sperm) only have to do with the mom's genetics (the one who drops both eggs). The father really has nothing to do with making twins.

What is the chance of having twins if your grandmother and grandfather were both fraternal twins and your half sister had twins AND you have a half sis and half bro that are fraternal twins?

The mother carries the twin gene and can pass it onto her children. However, only her daughters can give birth to twins. Her sons can inherit the twin gene and pass that onto their daughters, who can give birth to twins. But her sons will only become fathers of twins if their wife has the twin gene. So the chances of having twins if your husband is a twin is not possible unless you have the gene. However, if your grandfather passed the gene to his daughter (your mother) and she passed the gene to you, then, yes you could have twins if your grandfather is a twin.

Your paternal grandmother was a fraternal twin she had a brother and your paternal first cousin had a set of fraternal twins boys What are the chances of you having twins?

My Paternal grandfather and his sister were twins. I myself have fraternal twin boys. But none of my 1st cousins, or my sister have twins. I have two cousins who have had 3 single births so far, and my sister has had 2 single births as well. I dont know the chances of them giving birth to twins, but it does seem relatively low.
