This greatly depends on if the horse has the greying gene or not, if it does your foal may eventually turn completely grey (white hair coat). However Appaloosas are known for changing their color their entire lives so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

What two horse breeds will make a white horse?

Its not breeds that will make a horse white, its the dam (mother) and sire (father) if they are both white (and have no recesive alleles for another coat color) then the foal will be white. But if you breed a Lipizzaner to another Lipizzaner you'll be guaranteed to get a white horse but be patient the foal will be born black and turn white with age.

What color will the foal be from a white stallion and chestnut mare?

That depends on the color of the Paint stallion. Not the PATTERN, but the color other than white that is on the horse. The Paint pattern of the stallion and the white markings of the mare factor into whether the foal will have a Paint pattern, so I can't answer to that at all without more information. To answer about the color other than white that the foal might be.....If the Paint is chestnut or sorrel and white, the foal will be chestnut or sorrel. If the Paint is bay and white, the foal may be chestnut/sorrel or bayIf the Paint is black and white, the foal may be chestnut/sorrel, bay, or blackIf the Paint is palomino and white, the foal may be chestnut/sorrel or palominoIf the Paint is buckskin and white, the foal may be chestnut/sorrel, palomino, bay, or buckskinIf the Paint is cremello and white, the foal will be palominoIf the Paint is perlino and white, the foal will be palomino or buckskinIf the Paint is grey and white, you need to find out what color he was born. He would have been born one of the colors above (chestnut/sorrel, bay, black, palomino, buckskin, cremello, or perlino), then turned grey. Find out what color he was born, and then look at the list above. Your foal will be born one of the given colors, then have a 50% chance of turning grey. If the foal is going to turn grey, usually by 4 weeks of age they will have light hairs coming in around their eyes, on the muzzle, etc.If the Paint is dun and white, you need to figure out what the base color is and refer to the list above. The dun gene dilutes a base color, and is not passed along to every foal. Grulla is a black horse with the dun gene, red dun is a chestnut/sorrel horse with the dun gene, and "dun" is a bay horse with the dun gene. Palmino's with a dun gene are called dunalino, and buckskin's with a dun gene are called dunskin. If the Paint is red roan (chestnut/sorrel with the roan gene), your foal may be chestnut/sorrel, or red roan.Roan genes in Paints can be hard to figure out because the Sabino overo gene can make a horse look roan, when really they are not. A roan horse must have had a roan parent, so look at the color of the ancestors...if neither Paint parent was a roan, the stallion is not a roan either. If the Paint is a blue roan (black with the roan gene), your foal may be chestnut/sorrel, bay, or black and may also get the roan gene (red roan, blu roan, or bay roan)

Can you breed your horse in horse life adventures?

yes you can as a matter of fact! you can use your own horse and or a w horse that you have tamed and it depends on what color the 2 horses that you breed are to figure out what the foal will turn out like. like if the father (stallion) is black or brown, and the mother (mare/dam) is white or grey, then the foal might turn out to be white at the top and black at the hooves or grey at the top and black or white at the hooves... or it can be mixed!

Will my foal get a star?

If it isn't born with one. then more than likely they will not get one. unless they are underfed the spots on the body will turn white because of the nutrients in the hair having to go to other places to support the body better.

What color will the foal be out of a bay dun mare breed to a white?

Bay Dun Mare: AaEeDndn, AAEeDndn, AAEEDndn or AaEEDndn if it is heterozygous for the dun allele. 50% of the foals will be dun in this instance. If the mare is homozygous then the foals will be 100% dun. If by white you mean grey then 50% of all foals produced will turn grey independant of their initial birth color. Assuming that the stallion is heterozygous for grey (G). If by white you mean dominant white (W) 50% of all foals produced will be white (there is an ongoing debate about the exsistence of the W gene from what I recall). Since the presence of this allele masks other coat color genetics the white parent may carry any assortment of alleles that affect the color of the foal. If by white you mean maximum expression of Sabino (Sb) the foal could have many variations of white patterning from hardly any to almost completely white in conjunction with the various base and dun dilute combinations mentioned.

Is it ok for mare in foal to run with 2 year old colt?

She can run with the colt, but he may still harass her into attempting to breed with him, which could cause stress to the mare, which in turn could cause her to abort the foal.
