If you have two fish and they are the rigt genders, they could potentially lay eggs. but i have had five fish for two years, and some are bound to be the opposite gender. but they haven't laid any eggs as far as I know.Also, remove the eggs from the tank, as other fish or the mother could eat them, and will probably eat the babies if they hatch.
