The odometer will count the miles, regarless of which fuse is pulled, if the drive wheels are on the ground and the driveshaft is attached. So, either remove the driveshaft or lift the drive wheels off of the ground.
I don't think so. Disconnecting the odometer is illegal, and besides, you tow a FWD car with the front wheels off the ground and in that manner the odometer does not register miles. Towing it with the front wheels touching the ground will damage the transmission. So if towed correctly this is a mute issue.
yes. odometer and speedometer will be off though because of the different circumferences ummm those are 15 inch wheels
By buying bigger wheels....and putting them on
Yes - the odometer will register miles travelled while towing a trailer etc. The odometer is linked to the towing vehicle's wheels - not the trailer's.
It changes the ratio between the drive differential and the wheels. Your odometer will read high for the distance traveled.
An odometer is an instrument that tells you the distance - usually in kilometers or miles - a wheeled vehicle has traveled based on the number of turns made by its wheels.
54 are bigger.
As long as the front wheels are down in contact with the road surface on any model or year of a Honda CRV the odometer will register. If trailered or dollied with front wheels raised, no it won't.
if the wheels are rusted on.. the hardest part will be taking the wheels off. you will probably need a large, meaning bigger than 9 inch wheel puller, and or penetrating oil hammers and patience. if the wheels are rusted on.. the hardest part will be taking the wheels off. you will probably need a large, meaning bigger than 9 inch wheel puller, and or penetrating oil hammers and patience.
yes
Well both of those are from sensors in the wheels so maybe make sure you are using the correct wheels.
