Yes at first,before you board him take him to the place and let him see it and meet the person (or person`s) who`s going to be watching him,let him smell the place and some what get used to it,if you have time take him a couple of times,when you board him take something (old blanket,pillow) with your smell and he will feel better, also take some of his own toys and see if you can bring his own food and his own food/water bowls.When you take him just to visit go in the run with him even sit down for a minute,anything to make you and him feel better.
