William Howard Taft was the 27th President of the United States Of America. He was born on September 15th, 1857 in Cincinatti, Ohio. William was born into a very wealthy family. Taft attended a public school in Cincinatti. Then he went to the Woodward High School before attending Yale University in 1874. In 1908 William was supported on becoming president by Roosevelt. He had later then became the Republican nominee with James Sherman as the Vice President. Taft won with 52% of the popular vote.
