There is no problem it is when you put anti-freeze in the washer bottle that you have a problem.
Should be under the bonnet, bottom of the windscreen, the opposite side the washer fluid tank is.
1999 Outback only has one tank for the front and back washer fluid. It has two pumps. The pump for the back windscreen is located higher than the one for the front so if the level gets low it reserves the rest of the fluid for the front windscreen. Fill it up and it'll work no problems. T
windscreen washer fluid level is low. needs filling, near front left under bonnet. See same symbol on washer tank lid.
remove the radiator expansion tank (no need to remove water hoses ). pump is now easily removed by pulling straight up.
If it's pure water, I wouldn't put it ANYWHERE under the bonnet. But if it's mixed with windscreen washer, I'd put it in the reservoir for the windscreen washers - if it was running low. If it's mixed with anti-freeze, I'd put in the expansion tank for the radiator - if that was running low.
It is in the bottom of the washer fluid tank. Look underneith the tank.
Begin by removing the washer fluid tank hoses from your 1998 Oldsmobile And tree. Remove the washer fluid tank retaining bolts. The washer fluid tank will come off.
Remove the 2000 Chevrolet Malibu washer tank supply hose. Remove the windshield washer tank retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new windshield washer tank.
