Not necessarily. A lot of people that provide jobs are not very rich. A lot of jobs do not depend on there being rich people. Some rich people do help in creating jobs through employing people and in the way they spend their money.
the rich people in ancient Egypt had jobs as farmers and priests
Yes, the poor people would work for or be slaves for the rich, the poor people were the plebeians and the rich were called the patricians; the equestrians was another of the classes.
some people are very because of their jobs and some are really poor but overall I would say that it's a rich country.
People who were rich in the 1500s did not have jobs. Some were bankers and loaned money, but most were landowners - and thus nobles - and paid people to work for them.

It depends to what country you are referring to.

Poor people's jobs in ancient China were Slaves, money lenders, merchants and traders. Rich peoples jobs were land owners, scholars and poets.
Jackson did take advantage of his power to appoint people to government jobs and he , of course, appointed people who had supported him in the election. Most of the rich people were anti-Jackson and when they and their friends lost their government jobs, they protested about the spoils system which they had previously liked.
It makes some people rich and provides jobs for others.
