I say ... I say ... I say ... No, no I wouldn't!
Foghorn Leghorn may not be the best choice for a book narrator as his Southern drawl and exaggerated manner of speaking may be distracting or difficult to understand for some audiences. His humorous and over-the-top personality may overshadow the story being narrated.

I found a poster of all the Looney Tunes gang, sitting in a movie theater, about 4 years ago at Big Lots in Columbia, SC. I paid THREE DOLLARS for it and was thrilled to get it. They are occasionally on e-Bay. There is two there today (April 03, 2008), but you probably would need to check in often to find just the one you want. I'll link up the search below.

A third-person omniscient narrator would typically focus more on facts and events rather than delving deeply into characters' emotions. This narrator has knowledge of all characters' thoughts and feelings, but tends to maintain a more objective and factual tone in the storytelling.
There were many voice actors that contributed to the Looney Tunes cartoons over the years but the best known actor would be Mel Blanc. He voiced almost all of the primary characters developed in these cartoons (i.e., Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester, Tweety, Speedy Gonzales and Marvin the Martian, among others). Most of the female voices (not performed by Blanc) were done by June Foray and Bea Benaderet.
The best Rooster for breeding would be the Leghorn or Wellsummer this is because of their strong build.
