Yes, truck exhaust pipes were made for trucks and not cars.
if u want ur truck to be very loud the straight pipes would be the way to go but if you just want a go sound than the flowmaster 40s would be the way to go but dont get wrong the straight pipes sound great
I would say so as long as the diameter of the pipes match
There are two oxygen sensors on a 1989 Crown Victoria. One is located on each of the exhaust pipes coming off the exhaust manifold.
The flowmaster pipes are good and I would get the 2.5" system and get a H pipe along with 2 flowmaster super 44 mufflers if you like a great musclecar sound.
I like the flowmaster 40 series on a vehicle with a V-8 motor
Black smoke is a indication of an overly rich Fuel/Air mixture. Blue smoke is oil burning.
Flowmaster mufflers sound the best. I have used them for years.
The loudest Flowmaster exhaust systems generally include options like the Flowmaster Super 10, Super 44, and Outlaw series, which are designed for maximum sound and performance. Other notable loud options include the Flowmaster 40 Series and the Flowmaster 50 Series, depending on the vehicle application. The Super 10 is often regarded as the loudest, delivering an aggressive sound, while the Outlaw series offers a straight-through design for minimal restrictions. Ultimately, the loudness can also depend on the specific vehicle setup and engine configuration.
Are the best exhaust ever, yes. .... flowmaster pipes, glass pack or cherry bombs and no cat converter..... or no exhaust at all... less torque but more HP
honestly on my '93 i kept it single with the flowmaster and it isn't too loud but still has that big cat pur when driving...AnswerYou need to come up with a custom solution. You need to split off the pipes behind the cat. converter (before if you want but more money) and install 2 mufflers with 2 tail pipes. Flowmaster sells pipes and mufflers seperately and in the sizes you want. If you are not gonna do it yourself take your custom system to Midas or Meineke and they should happily install it properly for you at a descent price ($200-$300 dollars), depends on difficulty. For real performance start from the headers or exhaust manifold and make it a true dual with the H-design from Flowmaster. Pricy but really does the job of freeing up horsepower and you can still get the mean street sound you are looking for.Hope I helped!

Yes, if the crown weir is not covered by the trap seal.
