Well, a little shake is normal. But there could be a couple of things going on here. If the engine is in need of a tune up, IE: it's missing on a cylinder or two, it will shake more violently than if it was in tune. You might also have a loose or broken motor mount, and/or a loose or broken transaxle mount.
