Can a retainer alone without braces fix about a half a centimeter gap between your front two teeth and the two next to them please answer ASAP thanks?

I have braces now and I don't think a retainer would fix gaps because retainers are meant to keep teeth in place after having braces, they aren't meant to move teeth !! Sorry man

If you use teeth effect bands to close your gap and afterwards get a retainer would the gap stay closed?

I have found from personal experience that a retainer doesn't do much for gaps. It didn't for me. I had about a half centimeter gap in between my two front teeth and the orthodontist used bands to hold the gap. He did this for over a year, yet when I got my braces off and started using a retainer, the gap was back in a month. My teeth continuing to drift may have something to do with my age. I had braces from 10-late 12. I have heard that your jaw is softer when younger and that it hardens with age, thus keeping teeth in place. I'm not totally sure on this though.

If you have straight but gapped teeth and do not have your wisdom teeth yet will the wisdom teeth help close the gap when they come in?

It might help a little, but if your father or mother have gapped teeth, you probably will too.AnswerWhen your wisdom teeth will come out, if you have space, they might close some gaps between your back teeth. It is less likely that they will help closing the gaps between your anterior teeth. To do so, it is better to do an orthodontic treatment.I had gaps between my anterior teeth, like my grandfather did. It was corrected by braces in middle school within only a year. My wisdom teeth came in and still have plenty of room. I found that my teeth tend to move outward, so I still wear braces overnight at least once a week, fifteen years later.AnswerAlthough my teeth are straight, I have gaps in them due to their shape (normal teeth are triangular, mine are square) or so my dentist says. Because the teeth are already straight (not needing braces^), my dentist said the solution to my gaps is porcelain veneers. He also said that braces would only force my teeth together, and that they would constantly be moving back to their original place because they were already in the correct position. I had my wisdom teeth removed while they were still impacted. My mother also only had gaps in her upper front teeth, and when her wisdom teeth erupted they pushed her upper and bottom front teeth together, eliminating the gaps, but also causing her bottom teeth to become crooked. Waiting for you wisdom teeth to erupt is not the best solution to the gapped teeth, seeing as how they could cause other complications.

You have overcrowding of front teeth your braces have moved your teeth but there is gaps in your front teeth will they close?

Your orthodontist should be able to close all gaps and get your teeth to align perfectly

Are the results of using teeth gap bands permanent?

You have had your wisdoms removed and you were wondering what will happen to the gaps in your mouth Will your teeth move because of the gaps?

Your doctor can give you the details, but the gaps will slowly fill in with gum, and your teeth will likely not move.

What is tesalation?

Tessellation: to form or arrange patterns of shapes in a layout that leaves no gaps or overlays. So basically, its a series of shapes that are put together leaving no gaps or any overlaps. for example, lots of squares put together would leave no gaps but a circle wouldn't work because if you put them together they leave gaps.
