no it would be harder then what it is now :) JWt
Airplane? What airplane? My paper airplane wings weigh less than 8 grams.
yes they are better than all of the different kinds.
It wouldn't. It would crash.
The importance of wings is critical to an airplane, they produce lift that can sustain the airplane in the air.
One can make a toy airplane by purchasing or cutting out wood wings and a body. Then cut a slit in the two sides of the body and insert the wings. To make a paper airplane, simply fold the airplane in half, then fold the sides down at an angle to create the wings.
It's a rather small genetical mutation to add an extra pair of wings to a fruit fly. When done in a lab, the fruit flies with extra wings couldn't fly at all. Also, according to the theory of evolutionary theory, if this extra winged fly would have better chances of surviving it would compete with the one-winged until they completely took over (which obviously hasn't happned). So in short: it would hinder it.
If the airplane is not a lifting body and has no wings, there could be no lift to hold it aloft. Therefore, the only force acting on the aircraft in the vertical dimension is gravity, and so the airplane falls.
No, an airplane requires both wings to provide lift and stability. Additionally, the propeller is powered by the engine, which would likely be on the missing wing. Without both wings and the engine, the airplane would not be able to maintain controlled flight.
An airplane with two wings on either side is called a biplane.
They are on the wings
A lifting body paper airplane would not have wings, although I am not sure the instructions of any are available online.
That would be the air pushing against the airplane's wings.
