probably not. collectors buy guns to admire, not shoot. if you add engraving price less likely it will sell faster due to higher price.

Do you list property tax as factory overhead?

No, property taxes would not be classified as factory overhead...property taxes get paid under an expense account

What is the value of SW 38 Safety model in nickel engraved with pearl grips 186049 condition excellent?

It will depend on if it left the factory that way. I would advise getting a letter from S&W (cost 50 USD). IF it left the factory that way, you would need to seek professional appraisal. If it is aftermarket engraving and grips, it will depend on who did the engraving and the content. Value range could be from 75-7500.

Where can you find engraving machines?

Call up a place that does engraving and ask where you would purchase an engraving machine.

Can anyone give me info about my Remington model 12 slide action 22 with TRI inlaid in the stock and factory engraving on the breach and TRI engraved on the trigger guard?

Probably could but ultimately would need photo's. One of the clearest and easy signs to tell if this is factory engraving is the serial no is engraved vs stamped. If it's not engraved fancy and fit into the design it's not factory and there's not going to be much anything anyone can tell you other then the age based on the serial or if after 1920 based on the date code. As for inlay into the wood that's simply not factory.

What is the value of a 45 colt patented sept 1871 July 2 72 Jan 75 nickeled engraved?

The devil is in the details. Is it factory nickel and engraving? You would need to get it lettered by Colt to find out if it left the factory the way it is now. If not, it would then depend on how old the nickel is and how good it was done. Same thing with the engraving. What is the barrel length? What are the grips made out of? What caliber is it chambered for? How much of the finish remains? Without knowing these things and many more, the best I can do is give you a price range of a few hundred to possibly multiple thousands.

Can you Get an Engraving on a used iPhone?

Although Apple does not offer engraving for iPhones, and engraving itself would void any warranties on the iPhone, you may want to ask around local engraving companies that offer laser engraving to get their opinion (I do not recommend electro-mechanical engraving, as that could damage the delicate components inside the iPhone). It's possible, though, that the plastic cases on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs may not be suitable for any sort of engraving at all.

What kind of items qualify for custom laser engraving?

One should only try to put a laser engraving on items such as plaques, glass, acrylic and wood. Other materials would break or melt in the process of engraving.

What would the journal entry be if a company incurred an expense?

There may be more than one way to record an expense. The easiest journal to think about is when you've used cash to pay for the expense. In that case, you would debit an expense account and credit cash. But, if you've received the benefit of an expense but have not yet paid for it the debit would still be the expense account but the credit would be a liability account. Of course, there are times when cash flows but no expense is recognized such as investments in property, plant and equipment. After that expenditure is made you would recognize periodic expenses in the form of depreciation. That would be a debit to depreciation expense and a credit to accumulated depreciation.
