I think you mean "centrifugal" supercharger. It depends, a positive displacement will give you more low end torque where a centrifugal builds boost as your RPMs increase, giving you more top end power and max speed, but won't do much at low RPMs. That said, centrifugal are a bit more efficient and probably cheaper.

You should be able to... Just make sure that they both come from engine with the same displacement (I4, V6).
Superchargers use a special type of oil that you can get from the dealer. I bought a small oil canister for $50 OMG, so expensive but need it. Hope that helps. I use GM supercharger oil in mine.... it runs about $12 at a GM dealer and comes in a pretty good sized bottle.... I read that it worked, tried it, and have not had any problems....
