It really depends on your relationship with her parents. If these are people that really truly mean a lot to you, then there is no rule saying you have to end your friendship with them. You are broken up with her, not them. However, you do need to be careful not to do exactly what you were accused of. If you are friends with them, you can't take advantage of them to get to her. You can't do anything to be hurtful or intentionally cause drama. She was their daughter before you, and she is still their daughter after you. They love her. Whatever you are doing to their daughter, you are doing to them. If these are people you sincerely do not want to lose, it is best that you sit down with them and have an open and honest talk. Ask them what their thoughts and feelings on the situation are.
