Good question. A bass will work with any bass amp. That's the only restriction, you have to use a bass amp. If you try a regular guitar amp you may over drive it too much and damage the speaker. Hope this helps.

If one plays acoustic guitar, one doesn't need an amplifier..
"Johnson" is a brand name for guitar, but, if you're asking if Johnson is a name brand guitar as in "quality" guitar, then I would say no. Johnson is an inexpensive guitar somewhat suitable for beginners.
can be any shape or brand even the cheapest guitar with two humbuckers, heavy gauge strings and a low tuning through an amplifier with the right amount of distortion.
If you plug the guitar into an amplifier, it is an electric guitar. I am not sure the rest of the meaning of your question as it is structured so poorly. Are you asking to find ways to determine if you own a knock-off guitar brand?
Each brand guitar makes a different sound, one guitar may be better than another,it could be the pickups,or the tuning. It could be anything.
Some people would think so, others would not.
When you buy a top brand guitar, generally you will get a set of strings and probably a soft case. If you ask nicely, you can even get a pick or two free. Sometimes when you buy cheap guitars, they might throw in a stand, a small amplifier and a tuner, depends on the generosity of the merchant. What you need to have everything enough to play is the amplifier, a guitar lead, some plectrums (picks), a set of strings already on the guitar and something to put the guitar in after you play. Later, you can get a guitar stand, a strap for standing while you play and some effect pedals.
Absolutely! Beware, however, that you will probably get unwanted feedback from the amplifier if you are using an electric/acoustic guitar. Acoustic amplifiers have circuitry built into them to help negate feedback.
There are many different brands of vintage bass guitars. One of the more popular brands seems to be Bender. Gibson is another popular brand of vintage bass guitar.
Dends on what brand and condition.
