A hairless cat is actually not hairless. They have peach fuzz. They are worse for people with Allergies. They are worse because the dead skin falls off easier. Their skin is what people are allergic to. Not their fur. They also leave oily residue behind.

Which cat is best for somebody with allergies?

If you have an allergic reaction to dandruff and or fur the best cat you would want to get is a Siberian Cat. I know it sounds weird but check out google and type in "cat without dander." Answer If someone has allergic reactions to cats it's usually because of cats saliva. Cats spend most of their time grooming themselves that their saliva gets and clings on their fur. So people with allergies to cats are not allergic to the cats fur, but to their cats saliva. I suggest to a person with allergies to cats to get a Spynx ( a hairless breed of cat) or an American Shorthair. These are the best breeds of cats for people who have allergies.

What kind of baby white cats with green eyes don't cause allergies?

It would be hard to say without knowing exactly what the allergic reaction was triggering on. Most people are allergic to cat dander, and many are more allergic to the dander of adult cats. Two breeds which seem less likely to trigger allergy are the hairless Sphinx and the nearly-hairless Cornish Rex. The Cornish Rex, identified by its curly whiskers, does come in a white variety with green eyes.

Can you get hives from cats even if you are not allergic to them?

What would be a good description of the bread profile relating to a Sphynx?

Sphynx cats are knows to many people as a "hairless cat" which they are. However, there are many other types of hairless cats. Also, not all Sphynx cats are completely hairless, there are different degrees of being hairless. The lack of hair on Sphynx cats is caused by a simple genetic mutation. They usually have hair around their nose and ears.

What is a good cat for people allergic to cat hair?

No cat is allergen-free, not even hairless cats, although there are some studies that conclude a few breed of cats are less likely to cause allergies than others. There has been some evidence to suggest that Siberian cats produce relatively little of the Feld1 allergen as compared to other cats because of their tight, thick undercoat and oily top coat. This keeps their skin well hydrated, thereby reducing dander production and distribution.
