No because if the environment never change trees could stop growing which would then eventually make the world have no oxygen so everything would die and if anything did live there wouldn't be a wide range of things and they would live a sad, boring life.

Why would species need to adapt?

because its environment changed

How the species can change?

Species can change is there is a mass extinction or if the type of species changed the type of climate or terrain which would would make the species evolve to its new environment so that it can survive.

What would the environment be like without pioneer species?

For starters, the environment would have only exclusive species and they would have different behaviors

What risk is there for a species that only reproduces by cloning?

As all the cloned individuals are identical they have exactly the same strengths and weaknesses. If the environment changes rapidly in a way that makes it harder for them to survive then most or even all individuals may be eliminated before any evolved better ways to survive in the changed environment. In species that have other means of reproduction available their populations have greater diversity in strength and weaknesses, so there is a greater chance that some individuals will already be able to better survive in the newly changed environment. Those individuals will pass on their traits to the next generation.

What might happen if a lake environment changed into a forest environment?

The Fish WOULD NOT SURVIVE

How would you know the species is not insane by its evolved or god given nature?

a complete choice, for what you want to do in life

What did Darwins do?

He laid the ground work for the theory of evolution, and created Darwinism (Survival of the fittest.) (or Natural Selection) He traveled to the Galapagos Islands, and on each island discovered new types of Finch birds. He then studied the environment they survived in, and theorized that they must have evolved form a similar bird, and evolved different traits to match the environment they were in. Charles Darwin DID NOT state that man evolved from the ape, or even the Chimp. He stated, in so many words, that the chimp and man (or hominids, which they are referred to) diverged into two separate and distinct species. If, for example, man evolved from the ape or the chimp, there would be no more chimps left! There is absolutely nothing within "On the Origin of the Species" that states that man evolved from the ape or the chimp. This is a farce that has evolved through time since the time Darwin released his works. Charles Darwin studied medicine at Edinburgh and for the ministry at Cambridge.

How did human culture develop from the time homo heidelbergensis to the time of cro-magnons?

During the transition from Homo heidelbergensis to Cro-Magnons, there was a significant advancement in human culture. This period saw the development of more sophisticated tools, the use of fire, improved hunting techniques, and the creation of art and symbolic expression. These advancements likely contributed to improved social organization and communication among early humans.

What would most likely occur if a species is adapted to an environment then the environment changes quickly?

Most of said species die, if there is a favorable mutation existent in the population that characteristic will become more prevalent. If not the species will most likely go extinct.

What best describes the relationship between evolution and natural selection?

Natural selection is when two organisms breed. The good genes that the child would need to survive in the habitat are passed on and the bad genes are not used. So the offspring would have had all of the right genes in order to survive.Natural selection keeps happening and then over time the species would completely adapt to the environment and sometimes a new species is made. This means the species has evolved into a new , adapted one That is the link! Hope it helped

What organism has characteristics that would allow it to survive if its habitat and the environment around it suddenly and greatly changed?

iT is an animal
