Hamster food will not necessarily kill your guinea pig, but it does not contain the necesary nutrients required by the cavy. Malnutrition can lead to further serious problems. It's best to use food thats formulated specifically for your animal.
On the contrary, a mouse could hurt the guinea pig. Guinea pigs are strictly prey animals & their only defenses are to run & hide, or to freeze in place. A mouse could easily chew on a guinea pigs ears, nose, etc.
Some people swear that it's okay to put rabbits & guinea pigs together. This, too, is a bad idea. Rabbits can accidentally hurt a guinea pig by the immense size difference alone.
One last thing; diet. Guinea pigs, mice & rabbits all have different nutritional needs. So, if you cage them together, they will eat each other's food & not get the proper nutrition each animal needs.
More like vise versa. Don't even think about putting a hamster and guinea pig together. Not a good idea! The guinea pig would most likely try to hurt the hamster.
Yes it would. Cats like to eat rodents and guinea pigs are rodents.- retard actually a guinea pig is considered a cavvy-sk8er kid
they will be curious towards each other but may turn to fighting.DO NOT keep a hamster and guinea pig together on long term
if the guinea pig is avoiding the rabit then yes but i would strongly advise seeing a vet
I have a cat and have a bunny and a guinea pig as well. The cat is fine with them - I think it just depends on the personality of your cat. I would assume a gecko would be fine in a sealed cage. I have a cat and my cat got along with my hamster and guinea pig i dont think the cat would be fine with the geco. because it moves around alot more but the guinea pig is the nicest i love my guinea pig buy one they cuddle just make sure to spend lots of time with it
Just watch that the cat doesn't use claws on the guinea pig and don't leave the guinea pig outside the cage unattended and it should be fine
It doesnt harm anyone but why would you want to make out with your pet
No. They harm a guinea pig badly.
no, the oils from your skin will not harm your guinea pig.
It depends on how big the chicken and the guinea pig is then you woild be able to think but i dont thing a guinea pig would.
I am not sure but i do no that a cat can attack a guinea pig and so can dogs so it is better not to buy a guinea pig if u have a cat or dog.
A cat.
no
no, unlike hamsters the adults will not harm the young.
Just talk to it like you would a pet dog or cat.
